Moves for Seniors: COVID-19 Protocol
Effective May 18, 2020
Downsizing Assistance:

Maximum of two workers in client’s home at a time to minimize one-on-one contact

A Bridge Forward workers will wear face masks at all times; clients also are required to wear face masks

Workers and client to maintain social distance of 6 feet

A Bridge Forward workers will wash hands with soap and water when arriving at client’s home, and every hour thereafter
-
Commonly touched surfaces, including door handles and counters will be wiped down before we leave
Packing services:

Client is asked to maintain distance of 6 feet from workers or be out of the house during packing

Workers and client (if present) to wear face masks

A Bridge Forward workers will wash hands with soap and water when arriving at client’s home, and every hour thereafter

Moving:
-
Movers will be asked to wear masks and provide and follow protocol

It is suggested that clients not be present when the movers are loading or unloading (Bridge Forward representative supervises move-day activity)
Unpacking services
-
Bridge Forward workers will wear face masks at all times when in a senior community; clients (if present) also are required to wear face masks

Client is asked to maintain 6 feet social distance or not be present for the unpack

A Bridge Forward workers will maintain a distance of 6 feet with senior community employees and not touch anything unless necessary while in the community

A Bridge Forward workers will wash hands with soap and water when arriving at the client's apartment, and every hour thereafter

Commonly touched surfaces, including door handles and counters will be wiped down before we leave
All:

A Bridge Forward workers will not work if they or the client has a temperature or is otherwise feeling ill

A Bridge Forward representative reviews protocols with client and obtains client signature
